The Irish Travel Agents Association (ITAA), in partnership with Cork Airport, is running an advertising campaign throughout January, February and March.

The focus of the campaign is to promote booking holidays through local travel agents across Munster from Cork Airport.

The advertising, which kicks off Monday, January 11, will run across the main local radio stations in Munster, including RedFM, TippFM, Radio Kerry, Cork’s 96 and WLRFM in Waterford.

“The aim of campaign is drive customers to our local travel agents when looking to book summer holidays. Local travel agents have the expertise and experience to recommend the perfect holiday to suit everyone’s taste. Whether it’s a relaxing two weeks in the sun or an adventurous city break, a travel agent will have the insights and knowledge to offer the best value and holiday,” said the ITAA’s Pat Dawson.

“Cork Airport has a fantastic choice of destinations for the summer season, including new destinations such as Menorca, Nantes, La Rochelle and Madrid. It also has all the firm favourites, such as the Canaries, Alicante, Faro, Malaga, Dubrovnik and Izmir. And as well as an unbeatable selection of destinations from Munster, there is great value for car parking,” he added.

The ITAA radio advertising will run parallel to Cork Airport’s latest marketing campaign, which will also run across local radio, outdoor and digital.

“We are rolling out our new advertising campaign in January promoting the widest range of summer destinations available to travellers from Munster. This summer we have a fantastic choice on offer, including some new routes as well as all the favourite sun spots,” said Kevin Cullinane, Cork Airport’s Head of Communications.

“We are actively encouraging anyone thinking of taking a summer holiday this year to talk to their local ITAA travel agent about their booking.”
