Tarragona, only 3kms from Reus airport, is the likelier destination for visitors to base themselves for a visit to the Costa Daurado and the surrounding region. The Port Adventura Park & Resort, Spain’s busiest resort and theme park, is in Salou, only 10km from the airport.

Gaudí Centre Museum

The famous Catalan architect Antoni Gaudi was born in Reus in 1852. This museum in Tarragona offers a fun guide to the designs of an architectural one-off.

Museu Nacional Arqueològic de Tarragona Cultural

The museum highlights the cultural and material wealth of Roman Tarraco. Exhibits include part of the Roman city walls, frescoes, sculpture and pottery. A highlight is the large, almost complete Mosaic de Peixos de la Pineda.

Port Adventura Park & Resort Theme Park & Resort

Located in Salou on the Costa Daurada and only 10 km from Tarragona and Reus is the Port Aventura Theme Park & Resort. With more than four million visitors every year, it is the most visited park in Spain. 

Amfiteatre Romà Historical

This Roman amphitheatre is near the beach and houses the remains of 6th and 12th century churches built to commemorate Christian martyrdom during Roman times. Address: Plaça d’Arce Ochotorena, Tarragona.
